The Suzuki rider finished third at the Sachsenring and at Laguna Seca last month and is confident he can continue that form in the Czech Republic, where he finished fifth last season.
"I've had a good break and am ready to get back in the saddle," he said. "We finished the first half of the season with good rewards from our efforts and I'm sure we can continue that momentum at Brno.
"I got a good result here last year and the GSV-R was no the podium with John (Hopkins) on board, so it all looks good for a strong performance. I am fully focused on keeping my podium run going."
Vermeulen is also eager to test Suzuki's new bike after the race at Brno.
"We have a test after the race when we have a new bike featuring chassis and engine developments," he added. "We have high hopes for the changes and I'm looking forward to seeing how our thoughts and ideas will translate on the track."
